When you become a member of Food for TreesTM, you enter into a strategic alliance which recognises the particular needs of your business at the same time as seeking to maximum the environmental benefits of the scheme.

Food for TreesTM is committed to ensuring that all of its strategic alliances are beneficial to all parties without compromising the philosophy and vision of Food for TreesTM.

Strategic alliance guidelines

The Food for Trees Code of Practice and associated Strategic Alliance Agreement have been developed to guide the initiation, implementation and maintenance of successful relationships between Food for Trees and its members.

The Strategic Alliance Agreement includes arrangements and procedures that are designed to

  • Promote effective relationships with alliance members;
  • Safeguard the public’s trust and confidence in Food for TreesTM;
  • Protect the integrity of the Food for TreesTM name, intellectual property and reputation;
    and
  • Guard against potential adverse legal and ethical consequences.

 

For the purposes of these guidelines, a strategic alliance is defined as any arrangement or relationship involving Food for TreesTM and another party as part of which:

  • Food for TreesTM name or branding is used or permitted to be used in conjunction with the other parties corporate name, brand, products or services; or
  • The other party is able to publicise:
  • An association with Food for Trees, its ideals or activities; or
  • That its actions or purchases or use of its products or services will promote Food for Trees.

 

How to Join

Joining Food for TreesTM is a simple process:

  • Complete the application form.
  • Provide a list of the products or service areas you wish to brand with the Food for TreesTM logo.
  • Arrange a meeting convenient for you with a Food for Trees representative.
  • Determine your level of planting commitment.
  • Pay an annual fee.
